The Owl and the Pussycat - Puppet set

Our school asked me to make a Story set ,

based on the beautiful Poem "The Owl and the Pussycat" by Edward Lear

 as a teacher's resource for Year 2

The Owl and the Pussy-cat went to sea
In a beautiful pea green boat,
They took some honey, and plenty of money,
Wrapped up in a five pound note.
The Owl looked up to the stars above,
And sang to a small guitar......

For very first time I've made a set with pastel natural colours it worked well with the Materials: Cotton , polycotton, calico cotton and just a bit of Felt
Its a 5 piece set

Set contains:
1 Owl –Hand puppet
1 Cat –Hand Puppet
1 Boat -pea green
1 Little Pot
1 Tiny bag

For Mrs Hen i have selected Off white (Calico)Cotton and Scandinavian style checked cotton to create a Rustic / Nordic style

but any combination of 3 colours of your own choice would suits lovely to Mrs HEN so get creative make a Shabby chic style Hen with some faded flowery motifs or just use those lovely fabrics treasured for months, hidden somewhere in the craft drawers .

This is my White Hen but i would love to make it in more colourful version

Elf- Custom Order Christmas stosking

This Elf with gigantic hat was a very last minute order ,from a friend that give me permit to be more Creative.
The Elf is around 70 cm tall with little bell at the end of the hat

the brief was simple:))) :We need something nice for 7 year old boy
and i have made this Elf with big hat and lovely little fingers to hold the good size stocking


on the Cuff of the Stocking The name was embroidered to make it even more personal
