 My first portrait of a Samoyed - Custom made headcover,  Had this  amazing dog as a model

I must admit that my first attempt was not very successful and my Samoyed looked more like a Pomeranian , but show white . With some corrections here and there the final outcome was rather nice

Perfect gift for a Dog loving GOLFERS 

It was a pleasure to make this monochrome headcover .

 I had this fabulous fabric for ages  -Its  Grey " poodle ears " like Fur ,

that waited for the right DOG  model as the fabric was available in Grey only,

 so I needed commission of Grey Poodle ...

I have used few different shades of Grey , not fifty though 

Really love to work  with my new "Copic" markers on the finishing touches

Was a busy time these last few weeks ,with lots of :

Here I am Just adding the finishing touches....
and then it is the waiting for approval from the customer... or if any corrections are needed  

My favorite part of the whole process is when I am  making the sketches and studying the pictures of the person in order to find the most characteristic points in their features

And then when the sketch is agreed  , the making commence...

This headcover - portrait was unusual with no sunglasses and no hat  ,so catching the eye expression was a bit of a challenge

I had tried to make them identical and just gave in , but hope both of them turn out as equaly cute

I was lucky to find the best material for this Cockapoo dogs, as the customer brief was very clear - as realistic as posible image

I would love to experiment with a fabric in pink for the same version to make it exrta girly
