Custom GOLF head cover - based on your LOGO

Usually it's a challenge to create  Custom  GOLF head cover - based on your LOGO or illustration but this Scottish Thistle Man was a pleasure to make 

Making an existing 2 D image of a logo or an illustration , into 3  dimensional object its a bit tricky .

My customer's Logo is a great drawing  of a Scottish Thistle Man -very cute and detailed .
However It is  not an easy task to made it into a  Golf headcover  appling completely different media where such details can not be used to resemble the image .

 I did try to keep as close as possible to the original image  

For this Custom made Golf Headcover  of a Scottish Thistle Man I had to  experiment with the hair using different materials ,however  this long pile craft fur seems to the the right one

Havanese -golf dog

This Havanese was a real cutie - I have made the Dog portrait headcover using lots of different textures to resemble more fully the model 

Lady golfer - custom Golf headcover

This is one of my very few Lady golfer - custom portrait Golf headcover  

My beautiful model was very pleased with the outcome and had sent me few pictures of the Custom Golf headcover in her Golf BAG 

When a model is with long hair I am never sure how to deal with the design  ,  as the temptation to use a "wig like " fibres is clashing with the practicality and the main purpose of a Golf headcover 

so in this portrait after trying different options I have used a sturdy fabric to make the hair 

There were a lot of details : a hat ,sunglasses and logos to be accommodated  into the design 

Usually  in my headcovers I do put the  focal point  either on the eyes or the smile however my customer had amazing eyes and a beautiful smile so with this difficult choice to make , I did  represented the eyes and the smile  equally in this design

Welsh Terrier Custom made golf headcover

My first Welsh Terrier Custom made golf headcover is completed and ready for the customer

I was very glad for this commision as i love the Welsh terriers  with all their colours and fancy haircuts 

In order to achieve the resemblance of my model , i've used various craft furs .Then I needed to treat the craft fur additionally to get the right colour , texture and  look

Custom birds of prey -golf headcovers

My birds of prey -golf headcovers ; Falcon , Hawk and Vulture 

The customer wanted certain type birds to be made into headcovers and the brief was very clear - looking for a realistic version of a vulture , falcon and hawk

My vulture headcover has a furry body and bold head 

For me The vulture was much easier to make and to create the distinctive features of this great bird

When I did the research For the falcon and the hawk , I did found it difficult to distinct the both birds of prey properly ,even some of the sources that I looked at used both names for the same image of a  bird ,so I've decided to try and resemble a Peregrine Falcon for my Falcon golf headcover and then a Red hawk for my version of a Hawk golf headcover. 

I went for, different colour schemes for these birds of quite similar features

Cavapoo-Custom made Golf headcover

In Love with a Cavapoo !!!!!

These dogs are so beautiful and furry I had great time making this Cavapoo Portrait golf club cover , the perfect gift for Dog loving golfers 

It s a custom made golf club headcover for a driver 

To achieve the scruffy texture of the hair I've  boiled the craft fur for more than an hour and the result was quite natural looking texture  

The only correction that customer wanted me to make , was to reduce the size of the nose .

 I know , I tend to make all dog's noses  bigger than the realistic size

Portrait Golf Club covers - golf GIFTS

I am working on a few Portrait Golf club covers ,

just finished this one and its ready to be posted

It was a bit of an urgent order for a golf gift ,
now i am keeping my fingers crossed to reach the customer in time

This golf club cover was a bit of a challenge as I never made full body doll as a golf headcover before
main problem was the position of the elastic
